Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Get New Update – See What’s Changing

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone have received a fresh update on February 11, introducing new restrictions in Ranked Play, stability fixes for Zombies, and bug fixes across both games. This comes just two weeks after the launch of Season 2, which brought new maps, weapons, and perks to the game.
What’s New in the February 11 Update?
Ranked Play Restrictions
Treyarch Studios has banned several weapons from Black Ops 6 and Warzone Ranked Play:
- SMGs: KSV, PPSh-41
- Assault Rifles: Cypher 091
- Warzone: Experimental Gas Grenade
Multiplayer Fixes
- Fixed a Gunsmith issue preventing players from equipping certain XMG weapon blueprints.
Zombies Improvements
- Various stability fixes to improve gameplay.
Warzone Updates
- Fixed a demotion bug in Ranked Play.
- Fixed collision exploits on the Urzikstan map.
- Addressed issues with squad member self-revives not displaying.
- Fixed a Buy Station glitch preventing item purchases.
- Legacy Ranked achievements now carry over properly.
Double XP Event Extended
Treyarch also announced an extension of the latest Double XP event for Black Ops 6 and Warzone. While no official reason was given, many believe it is due to the PSN outage on February 7-8, which left players unable to access online features for nearly 24 hours.
What’s Next for Call of Duty?
While Season 2 brought new content, many Warzone players feel the game is in a rough state, with player counts dropping on Steam. Activision has stated that bug fixes and gameplay improvements are a priority, which could mean fewer content updates in the near future.
For now, players can enjoy the latest fixes and make the most of the extended Double XP event while waiting for what’s next in Black Ops 6 and Warzone!
