Pokemon Fan Reimagines Psyduck as Iconic Final Fantasy Jobs

A creative Pokemon fan has reimagined Psyduck as various iconic Final Fantasy Jobs, including Black Mage, Monk, Warrior, and more. This unique crossover blends two legendary RPG franchises in a way rarely seen before.
Psyduck’s Final Fantasy Job Transformations
Twitter user Oliver Hamlin recently shared their artwork featuring Psyduck dressed as different Final Fantasy Jobs. The image showcases Psyduck in a variety of classic roles:
- White Mage – Wearing a white and red robe with its hair poking through.
- Black Mage – Sporting a large hat with glowing yellow eyes peeking from the shadows.
- Warrior – Standing proudly with a sword and shield.
- Monk – Wearing a black gi and headband, ready for battle.
- Red Mage – Donning a frilly cloth and a winged hat.
- Thief – Clad in a green tunic and an orange bandana, looking sharp and sneaky.
Beyond just outfit changes, each Psyduck transformation also reflects the distinct personality traits associated with its respective Final Fantasy Job.
Inspiration from Classic Final Fantasy Games
The artwork draws inspiration from the original Final Fantasy, where Jobs had evolved versions such as Knight for Warrior, Ninja for Thief, and upgraded wizard classes. Hamlin has hinted at the possibility of expanding this idea to include Jobs from Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy Tactics.
Fans have already suggested additional Jobs for future artwork, including Bard, Beastmaster, Chemist, Dark Knight, Dragoon, Gunbreaker, Ninja, Paladin, Pirate, Puppetmaster, Rogue, Samurai, and Summoner.
Future Expansions and Possible Pokemon Crossovers
In addition to more Final Fantasy Jobs, fans have requested the artist create similar transformations using other Pokemon, such as Farfetch’d, Squirtle, and Tepig. Some have even suggested mashing up Bravely Default and Chrono Trigger characters in similar fashion.
With an endless array of possibilities, Oliver Hamlin may have plenty of Psyduck fan art to create for quite some time. While there is no set release date for the next piece, fans eagerly await the next installment of this imaginative crossover.
