Diwali Celebration by Interact Club of Raipur Elite Spreads Light and Smiles at Old Age Home

Raipur । The Interact Club of Raipur Elite celebrated Diwali in a truly meaningful way this year by spending the day with the elderly residents of Vridha Ashram, Sundarnagar. The event was organized under the guidance of Mentor Rashmi Mittal and led by Club President Krisha Agrawal and Secretary Ayusi Sethia.
Over 30 enthusiastic Interactors joined hands to bring festive cheer to the Ashram. The young volunteers decorated the premises with diyas, candles, torans, and rangoli, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth and joy. They sang songs, played games, and distributed sweets and snacks, adding moments of laughter and togetherness.
The most touching highlight of the evening came when the students lit candles for each resident and released Akash Deep lanterns into the night sky—each carrying heartfelt wishes for the elders’ good health and happiness. The emotional gesture moved everyone present.
The celebration turned out to be a soulful experience for the young Interactors, teaching them the real essence of Diwali — to spread light and happiness in others’ lives.
