- Iansan was first teased in 2020 and made an appearance in Version 5.2. Fans expected her to be a 5-Star, so her 4-Star status is surprising.
- Varesa was briefly teased during the Version 5.3 livestream, and her element remains uncertain, despite speculation that she is Electro.
- Version 5.5 will introduce the Collective of Plenty and unlock all six Saurian forms.

Fans React to Iansan’s Rarity
Many Genshin Impact players are disappointed that Iansan is a 4-Star instead of a 5-Star, while Varesa—a new and unknown character—was given the 5-Star spotlight.
