A new Genshin Impact leak suggests that Version 5.5 will introduce the Great Volcano of Tollan, a multi-layered zone in Natlan featuring the Collective of Plenty.
What’s Coming in Version 5.5?
- New Map Expansion: Tollan will feature aerial, subterranean, and base layers, making it a complex multi-layered region.
- New Characters: Iansan and Varesa are expected to debut.
- New Artifact Domain: Likely included in the Tollan expansion.
- Tatankasaurs for Traversal: These creatures will help players explore the volcanic landscape.
- Major World Quest: Bringing Golden Entreaties to the volcano could be key to the next chapter of the Traveler’s journey.
Natlan’s Unique Release Schedule
Unlike Fontaine, which had four zones by Version 4.4, Natlan will only have two zones and one Artifact Domain by Version 5.4. However, this doesn’t mean less content, just a back-loaded rollout.
What’s Next?
- Mare Jivari is rumored to arrive in Version 5.6 or 5.7 as the next expansion.
