Link Spotted in Super Nintendo World Orlando Construction – Is Zelda Coming Next?

Super Nintendo World is set to open at Universal Epic Universe Orlando in May 2025, but fans are already buzzing about a surprising detail spotted in the park’s construction. A stained glass window featuring Link, the legendary hero from The Legend of Zelda, has sparked speculation that the franchise could be included in the park’s future plans.
Zelda Easter Egg or Future Expansion?
Super Nintendo World has already been a hit in Japan and California, with the focus primarily on Super Mario and Donkey Kong. The Orlando location is expected to follow the same blueprint. However, the sighting of Link on a stained glass window—similar to those found in official Nintendo stores—has given Zelda fans hope that the franchise could eventually make its way into the theme park.
Adding to the speculation, a video allegedly showed Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma visiting the park’s construction site. While no official announcements have been made, rumors have long suggested that Zelda and Pokémon could be part of Super Nintendo World Orlando at some point.
Could Super Nintendo World Expand?
Nintendo and Universal have already considered adding other franchises beyond Mario. Early concepts for the park even included Splatoon, which has gained massive popularity, especially in Japan. Given Zelda’s status as one of Nintendo’s most iconic series, it seems likely that it will eventually receive a bigger presence in Super Nintendo World—perhaps in a future expansion.
For now, fans will have to wait and see if this small nod to Zelda is just an Easter egg or a sign of bigger things to come. With Super Nintendo World’s growing success, the possibility of exploring Hyrule in a theme park setting may not be far off.
