Pokémon GO Players Demand Changes to Overpowered Legendary Dynamax Battles

Some Pokémon GO players are calling for balance changes in Legendary Dynamax Battles, arguing that these encounters are too difficult. While Niantic continues to roll out updates and new features, the introduction of Dynamax Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres has sparked debate in the community.

Are Legendary Dynamax Battles Too Hard?

Dynamax Pokémon, first introduced in the main series, made their way into Pokémon GO last year. These massive versions of Pokémon have access to powerful Max Moves, making them formidable opponents. However, some players feel that Legendary Dynamax Pokémon are too strong, making battles frustrating.

Reddit user Taikuri1982 recently voiced concerns about the difficulty of these battles, stating that even tankier Pokémon like Metagross, Excadrill, and Blastoise get knocked out in just one or two hits. They also criticized the lack of move previews, which makes it difficult to prepare a proper team.

Community Reaction is Split

The Pokémon GO community is divided on the issue. Some players agree that battles should be rebalanced, especially against Dynamax Moltres, which seems particularly tough. Others argue that these raids are meant to be done with four players, making them naturally harder for solo or small-group attempts.

Could Niantic Make Changes?

This isn’t the first time Pokémon GO’s Max Battles have been controversial. The introduction of Max Mushrooms, which boost attack power in raids, also led to complaints about pricing. In response to past concerns, Niantic has adjusted Max Battles before, so players are hopeful that Legendary Dynamax Battles may receive tweaks in future updates.

For now, trainers will have to strategize carefully—or wait to see if Niantic listens to their feedback.
